2. No Advertising.
No advertising your website, or any other website
however you are allowed the advertising of ONE website in your Signature
3. No Spamming.
Spamming will not be tolerated.
Spamming is writing useless lines of text or such.
this includes excessive use of smileys.
You will be warned only once, and the post deleated
4. No Flooding.
Flooding is writing long lines of letters
Example: aaaaaaaaa or bbbbbbbb
Flooding is considered spamming, (see above rule) and will not be tolerated.
one warning, do not spam.
5. No Flaming.
Do not flame any member on this site
Flaming is insulting/swearing at someone.
Flaming of a staff member can get you removed and locked from this site
No Exceptions.
6. No Flame-Baiting
Do not flame-bait anyone
Flame-Baiting is making someone angry enough so that they flame
However, Flame-Baiting is NOT an excuse to flame someone.
7. No Repeating.
Self-Explanatory. no repeating a post.
this is also called Double posting.
Repeat more than three times, and you will suffer consequences.
8. No Mod/Admin begging.
do not ask how or to become a mod. it will not happen.
Moderators are chosen by selection.
If an Admin/Smod Thinks it is time for a new mod on a forum,
they will post an application thread.

Very simple. do not correct others wrong doings if you are not a mod.
plain and simple: If you do not mod the forum, do not correct rule-breakers, get a mod.
10. Stay on topic
Stick with the topic of the thread.
in other words, do not talk about birds in a dogs thread
violators will be warned and have their post deleted.
Thats what The "General Chat" thread is for.
11. No Racism
this forum is any race-friendly.
be civil. do not offend anyone here.
Use of the "n" word will result in immediate disciplinary action.
12. Respect the law
Respect the rules and its enforcers.
Do NOT argue with a moderator about a decision they have made.
if you think the action taken by the mod was unnecessary, Please contact an
Administrator or
Super Moderator and we will decide if the action was appropriate or not. Arguing with a mod is an absolute no-no and appropriate action will be taken against violators.
13. No illegal activity discussion
Simple as that. do not discuss illegal downloads, drugs, violence, or anything of the such or you will be banned, and reported to the appropriate authorities
14. No cloning
no making any more than one account on this website.
no exceptions. no warnings. violators will have both/all accounts banned.
(as of recent addition, this rule can be exempted for those who are taking the MRE pokemon leauge challenge, and that wish to have a separate account for just challenges)
15. No avoiding bans
this is considered cloning as specified as above.
do not make another account because your other one was banned.
you will immediately get the new one banned, and any other ones created after that.
Any post with anything that violates these rules, or any law can be deleted and the poster banned. if it contains illegal content, the proper authorities will be informed.
These are the rules. Follow them.
***also note that the Administration of Modern Rock Empire reserve the right to change or add to these rules at anytime.
